Psalms are coming.

The Psalms have been prayed by Christians everywhere for thousands of years. We join each other in prayer as Southwest Bible Church. But, God's people are not just here and now. We are part of a family spanning continents and eons. We speak words spoken in all places and at all times--words of praise to the one King, the Lord Jesus Christ.

SWBC Shared Purpose

Pray specifically, by name, for one (or more) of the following to enter into a relationship with Jesus:
Friends
Relatives
Acquaintances
Neighbors
Co-workers
Everyone else
Luke 15:1-7: Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Psalms

Psalm 103:1–6 (Listen)

Bless the Lord, O My Soul

Of David.

103:1   Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
    bless his holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
  who forgives all your iniquity,
    who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
  who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
  The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
